The purpose of these public hearings was to gather evidence from Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations, academics and the First Peoples' Assembly of Victoria about systemic social injustice against First Peoples in Victoria.

The purpose of these hearings was to gather evidence from representatives of Ngaweeyan-Maar-oo about Closing the Gap implementation in Victoria; the Victorian Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation and Professor Raymond Lovett about health inequalities and barriers facing First Peoples; and the First Peoples' Assembly of Victoria about the social justice issues that are addressed in this hearing block.
