Anonymous 1170
Anonymous 1170 found formal education in Victoria lacking, with First Nations history barely touched on. They advocate for celebrating current practices, studying Indigenous history before colonisation, and recognising achievements under colonial rule. They suggest educating non-Indigenous people about treaties and self-governance, promoting cultural festivities, and incorporating Indigenous seasons in weather broadcasts and council signage.
