This submission is a copy of the 1979 report prepared by Diane Barwick An Assessment of the Cultural and Historical Significance to the Present Aboriginal Community of the Land Reserved at Framlingham in 1861. Under the Aboriginal Lands Act of 1970, 586 acres at Framlingham Reserve were returned to Aboriginal ownership. This case was the first Aboriginal land rights victory in Australia.
