My experiences have been mostly good. I find if I’m very unwell everything is great. But if I seek support within some services i.e. dietitian, unless I’m in complete distress it’s very difficult to get anywhere.
The mainstream system I’ve mostly dealt with has been via … + … Hospitals. I find … is very good/quick to get the … staff to come see you – their nurses not so welcoming or culturally safe. … nurses + staff are very welcoming but never have I seen/been connected with ALO’s etc.
One that I’ve been involved with is the comprehensive diabetes clinic that VAHS have in place. It’s great to be able to see so many medical + Allied health specialists all in the same improving sessions.
More focus on a holistic approach instead of having multiple appointments for ranging issues, would help unclog the medical services.
