D’Arcy Molan
D'Arcy Molan is a non-indigenous man whose family were early settlers in the Western District and Wimmera region. This submission provides an overview of Mr Molan's PhD work invetsigating "the Wimmera through settler/non-indigenous and Wotjobaluk history and culture via interviews...collaboration, critical literary practices, and poetry". His research shows that "negotiating place between Wotjobaluk artists and settler decendant/non-indigenous artists, in private and public...makes it possible to reimagine the place we live in, be involved in intercultural exchanges, transform our ways of seeing, and challenge and expand our understandings".
