Mallee District Aboriginal Services (MDAS) is an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation delivering community services. It provides support for families, children, youth and adults, including disability, social and emotional wellbeing, housing, chronic disease management and health and fitness, with a focus on early intervention, prevention and empowerment. This submission covers housing in the Mallee; social and public housing in Mildura and Swan Hill; emergency and transitional accommodation; homelessness and homelessness services; and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander housing.
