Sherri Lyle
Sherri Lyle is a Yorta Yorta and Darumbal woman. In this submission, she shares her story of growing up with a father who hid his Aboriginal identity out of fear. She recounts being taken by the police and placed into institutional care, and the trauma she experienced there. She also discusses her struggles to understand her identity and her work with her organisation, Cooee Bunji.
