What does country mean to you?

Home it’s a place to belong and feel welcomed where ever I turn

What has happened to your mob and to country because your land was taken?

Having to fight to have our mob reckonised as a traditional owner or the plain pollution that has been bought around country

What are some examples of good practices or programs happening on country that could be adopted more widely?

More school education on our real history of Australia

Reckonising our traditional names for places and streets

What changes to laws or attitudes about land, sky and waters would you like to see?

Have more younger generation have a Voice!

I’m Wemba Wemba as well and still have to find permission to be allowed on my own Country my grandmother is buried out in Moonaculluh and I can’t go out there unless I check if allowed first!
