Country to me is about sharing & teaching both on an emotional & physical level. I believe in the saying if we look after Mother Nature, she will look after us. For indigenous people Country is a sense of home & always has a way of making you feel like you belong.
Division is a big problem with both European Australians & within our own Indigenous First Nations People. We would better be able to cater for our needs if we learn to solutionise & uncorporate resolutions from each others differences. Also there is a big loss in cultural & traditional practices.
Healing camps, youth education forums, insight on old traditional practices. Fulfilling our growth as one nations & implementing culture through our schools to further instill pride, knowledge & healing to our future leaders.
I would like to see more involvement left in hands of indigenous elders to be sat with Government as I feel it’s unfair to have western Australians decide our futures as First Nations People.
