What does it feel like to be an Aboriginal person living in Victoria?

Not good feel isolated with no support

What are the most important things you want people to know about your experiences?

The local BADAC Ballarat does not cater for mob/ community. It’s not a user friendly place. You get ignored when you go there and the staff is over 80% white with no leadership for the Aboriginal people. There is no ups killing for Aboriginal people they are basically second rate workers. It’s so white washed that mob just don’t want to go there anymore.

What does self-determination look like to you?

Would like to see Aboriginal people be up skilled in their jobs and have a meaningful impact on their lives and that there is no need for white people taking the jobs from Aboriginal people.

What changes do you want to see for your children and grandchildren?

Be proud and step up into jobs that they can see the way forward
