Our people need to be more visible in schools instead of Keso’s on the outskirts of schools and bring back the Aboriginal school Committees and set an example of through the history departments fro. early years to universities. We are not just painters and dancers we are much more and this is what the education system doesn’t know.
LAECG’s should be connected to schools for curriculum development and not only just problem solving. Also respect needs to be instilled in faculty and stop the tokenistic gestures because it establishes a cultural racist system.
It should be a requirement of the Victorian educational system to attend cultural awareness training by yearly therefore Stepping Out racism tokenism and cynicism.
