Matthew Delaney & Robyn Skeats

In this submission, Matthew Delaney tells his story. He discusses his childhood, including abuse and neglect, and his struggles with mental health issues, the mental health system, substance abuse, the criminal justice system, and other losses. He expresses a desire for a better future and highlights the importance of gratitude, community, and mental well-being. Robyn Skeats also discusses Matthew's life, some of the hardships he has gone through, mismanagement in the NDIS, and how she has supported him. She emphasises the important role of spiritual heritage and culture in healing
