How could First Peoples’ history and culture be better taught at school?

I was in school in the 80s + 90s so there was no First Peoples history or culture taught, so I assume its better now. All students should be taught the truth of invasion + its aftermath, as well as Aboriginal culture more broadly

How could Aboriginal kids be better supported at school?

ALOs + other support services

All students being taught Aboriginal culture

Language lessons

How else could we improve the Victorian education system for First Peoples?

More Aboriginal teachers – putting supports in place to encourage more Aboriginal people to become teachers – children can then have these teachers as supports + role models
