In the morning Commissioners heard from Jenny Atta, Secretary of the Department of Education and Stephen Fraser, Deputy Secretary, School Education Programs and Support, followed by Alinta Williams from the Victorian branch of the Australian Education Union. In the afternoon commissioners heard from the Vice Chancellors and Pro Vice Chancellors of Melbourne, Monash and Deakin universities.
